How to Cook Roasted Buckwheat

Allow approximately 70 g of dry buckwheat per person.

  1. Add one part buckwheat to two parts water.
  2. Bring to the boil and add a pinch of salt.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes, or until the water has been absorbed.
  4. Remove from the heat and leave to rest for 2 minutes.
  5. Fluff with a fork, season to taste and serve.

Enjoy in warm bowls, salads, soups, sides and porridge, or serve instead of rice.
